Process

How a KAMRA implementation runs.

Up-front pricing followed by eight milestones.

Before you sign

A clear price before any work starts.

Step 1Free 15-minute fit call

Tell me what you make and where things stand. I'll say plainly whether I can help.

Step 2Optional deep dive

For anything messy or unclear. You get a written fix list, and the fee comes off a project booked within 60 days.

Step 3Fixed-fee proposal

Scope, plan, price and terms in writing. You have 30 days to accept it.

Step 4Agreement and kickoff

Sign the agreement and statement of work, pay the deposit, and we book the kickoff.

The milestones

From kickoff to a team that runs it.

  1. Discover

    Weeks 1 to 2*

What happensKickoff, then we follow one real order from quote to shipment and look at every spreadsheet and workaround along the way. I review your item list, BOMs, vendors and stock as they are today.

Your partName one decision-maker. Walk me through how orders, production and purchasing really run.

What you getA written configuration map: how each process will run in MRPeasy, what's out of scope, and who owns each open decision.

You sign off on the configuration map. Nothing is built before that.

  2. Build

    Weeks 2 to 5*

What happensI set up MRPeasy: company settings, users and rights, workstations, units, routings, purchasing, production planning and customer orders.

Your partAnswer questions within two business days, and see a walkthrough before your team relies on it.

What you getA configured account, tested with real orders from last month before your team touches it.

Settings are locked and the features you need to have are understood by your team.

  3. Load data

    Weeks 3 to 6*

What happensYou fill in my import templates. I check them for duplicate part numbers, missing units, BOM quantities in the wrong unit and items marked the wrong type, then import in small batches.

Your partReturn the templates by the dates we agree at kickoff. Plan a fresh stock count for go-live week.

What you getClean items, BOMs and vendors, with opening stock loaded from a fresh count close to go-live.

Your items are uploaded to MRPeasy and configured how you need them.

  4. Connect

    Weeks 5 to 7*

What happensYour online store, shipping and accounting systems are connected to MRPeasy, with SKUs matched before any order sync turns on.

Your partBring in your accountant to approve how invoices, bills and inventory post. They make the accounting decisions, not me.

What you getWorking, tested integrations and the accountant's approval in writing.

Data from your chosen integration(s) flow to or from MRPeasy as intended.

  5. Train

    Weeks 7 to 8*

What happensTraining by role, not by module: planners, shop floor, purchasing, sales and shipping, and the owner. Every session uses your own items and orders and is recorded for new hires.

Your partMake each role group's time available, and have key people attend the mock trial.

What you getRecorded sessions and a one-page how-to for each role.

Each functional role has performed their main task on their own.

  6. Mock trial

    About a week before go-live*

What happensYour key people sit down together and play through a simulation of your business in MRPeasy, start to finish: orders in, production planned, materials bought, product shipped and invoiced.

Your partClear a block of time for everyone who touches an order.

What you getProof, before go-live, that your team can run the whole flow, and a short list of anything to tighten.

The mock trial is considered a success by your team.

  7. Go live

    Weeks 8 to 10*

What happensCutover at the start of a week, away from your busy season: stock count, opening balances, open customer and purchase orders, and the syncs switched on.

Your partCount stock and run the business in MRPeasy from day one.

What you getDaily check-ins the first week and a running issue list you can see.

A full week of live business activity is processed in MRPeasy.

  8. Warranty and handover

    30 days after go-live*

What happensI fix anything in my own work at no charge for 30 days, then hand over the full project record.

Your partConfirm acceptance in writing at the end of the 30 days.

What you getYour settings, import files, how-to guides, recordings and the decisions we made, all yours to keep.

No business-critical issues are left to fix.

* Typical timing for a standard implementation. Your proposal has your own plan, final dates are agreed at kickoff, and Day 0 is the kickoff meeting.

Hit your dates, earn up to 5% back.

Implementation clients earn a Milestone Credit for each of these checkpoints they meet on time. Each one is earned on its own, and it comes off your final invoice or your first Service Agreement month.

  1. Configuration map signed off
  2. Import templates returned, complete
  3. Your accountant approves the posting setup
  4. Every role group attends training
  5. Key people attend the mock trial
  6. Go-live on the agreed date

What's included

Everything a full implementation covers.

Your proposal lists exactly which of these are in your scope.

  • PurchasingVendors, vendor parts, prices, lead times and the purchase order flow.
  • Production planningHow manufacturing orders are created, scheduling and shop floor reporting.
  • Customer ordersQuotes, customer orders, shipments, invoices and document templates.
  • Accounting connectionQuickBooks Online or Xero, set up the way your accountant decides.
  • Store and shipping connectorsShopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Amazon and ShipStation.
  • Training and mock trialRole-based, recorded sessions and a full simulation before go-live.
  • Go-live and warrantyCutover, first-week support and 30 days of fixes to my own work.

Quoted separately when you need them: integration builds beyond the standard connectors (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zapier or the MRPeasy API), AI connected to MRPeasy or your other systems, and cleanup projects for an existing MRPeasy setup.

What you provide

A fixed fee works when both sides know their part.

  • One decision-maker who can answer questions within two business days.
  • Your data in my import templates by the dates we agree at kickoff.
  • A named login for KAMRA in MRPeasy and each connected system. No shared accounts.
  • Your team's time for discovery, training and the mock trial.
  • Your accountant, to decide how transactions post.
  • Active subscriptions to MRPeasy and your other systems, paid directly to each provider.

Delays on either side move the schedule by the same amount.

How I handle your systems

Your data stays yours.

  • I use my own named logins only, and never shared accounts.
  • Before any automation writes to a live system, I describe it and get your approval.
  • Project records live in a private, secured workspace that never holds passwords.
  • I use AI tools to run my side of the work, only services that don't train on your data, and I review everything. Decline in writing any time. Calls may be recorded by an AI notetaker that announces itself; ask and it stays off.
  • At the end, you get the full project record.

Not included

  • Accounting decisions such as chart of accounts design and inventory valuation. Those stay with your accountant.
  • Cleaning data beyond my import templates. That's a separate cleanup project.
  • Software subscriptions, hardware, label printers and scanners.

After go-live

Your team runs it. Help is there if you want it.

The goal is a team that runs MRPeasy without me. If you want someone watching what changes around it, an optional Service Agreement covers integration watch, 3 hours a month, new-hire training each quarter and your own booking link. It's month to month, and you can cancel by email.

Without one, past clients can book a Service Call whenever they need help: support that already knows your systems and process, with the problem fixed hands-on in your account. More in the FAQ.
