Working with KAMRA

Are you part of MRPeasy?

No. KAMRA is an independent consultancy. I'm not employed by or affiliated with MRPeasy; I'm an independent specialist who implements it for manufacturers.

How is this different from MRPeasy's own support?

MRPeasy's support and training explain how the software works. They don't apply it to your business data or set up integrations with your accounting and other programs. I do both, hands-on, and train your team along the way.

Who do you work with?

Small manufacturers that make physical products, usually with 10 to 100 employees and often selling online. Some are new to MRPeasy; others are already on it and want it fixed or connected.

Who will we actually work with?

Me, Josh Kamrath. The person on your fit call is the person who builds your setup, trains your team and supports it afterward if you want that.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. Almost everything happens over video and screen share. I'm based in Minnesota. On-site days are available when they help, at a set day rate and only with your written approval.

We aren't on MRPeasy yet. Can you help?

Yes. I can help you decide whether it fits your operation, then implement it from a clean start.

We're already on MRPeasy, but it isn't working. Can you fix it?

Yes. A deep dive gives you a written, prioritized fix list. From there, a cleanup project is quoted as a fixed fee, starting with what costs you most.

Which systems do you connect to MRPeasy?

Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Amazon, ShipStation, QuickBooks Online, Xero, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zapier and the MRPeasy API, plus AI services when you want them. Connections beyond the standard ones are quoted as their own fixed-fee build.

Pricing and payment

How do you charge for projects?

Implementations, cleanups and integrations are quoted as a fixed fee after the free call, and invoices are due upon receipt. Smaller requests, and Service Calls for past clients, are billed at $150 an hour.

What do the paid sessions cost?

A 30-minute working session is $75 and a 60-minute deep dive is $150. If you book a project within 60 days, the session fee comes off the project price.

How long do we have to accept a proposal?

30 days from its date.

What is the Milestone Credit?

Implementation clients can earn back up to 5% of the fee by hitting six project checkpoints on time, such as returning data by the agreed date and attending the mock trial. Each is earned on its own and comes off your final invoice or your first Service Agreement month. See the checkpoints.

What if our needs change during the project?

Anything new is quoted in writing before work starts. Nothing is added to your bill without a signed change order.

Are MRPeasy and our other subscriptions included?

No. You pay MRPeasy and your other software providers directly, so the accounts stay in your name.

The project

How long does an implementation take?

It depends most on how quickly your data comes back. Every proposal includes a milestone-by-milestone plan with target dates, and final dates are agreed at kickoff. See the typical milestones.

What do you need from our team?

One decision-maker who can answer questions within two business days, your data in my import templates by the agreed dates, a named login for me in each system, and your team's time for discovery, training and the mock trial.

What is the mock trial?

About a week before go-live, your key people sit down together and play through a simulation of your business in MRPeasy, from order to shipment. It proves your team can run the whole flow before it's real.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. For 30 days after go-live, I fix anything in my own work at no charge.

Do we keep the setup and files?

Yes. At the end of the project you get the full record: settings, import files, how-to guides, training recordings and the decisions we made along the way.

After go-live

Will we need you after go-live?

No. Your team is trained to run MRPeasy on its own. An optional Service Agreement covers what changes around your system, like provider updates on your integrations, new hires and new products.

What's included in a Service Agreement?

Integration watch for up to two integrations, with repairs when a provider changes something; 3 hours a month for questions, changes or training; a new-hire training session each quarter; a quarterly review; a direct line; and your own private booking link with same-day availability.

How fast do you respond under a Service Agreement?

Critical issues, like orders that can't ship or an integration that's down, get a response within 4 business hours. Standard requests get a response the next business day. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central.

How do we cancel a Service Agreement?

In writing, and email is fine. Service continues through the end of the month you cancel in, with no prorated billing.

What's a Service Call?

Hourly help for past clients who don't have a Service Agreement, at $150 an hour, booked and paid online. Because I already know your systems and process, no time is spent learning your setup, and the problem is fixed hands-on in your account.

Data, AI and accounting

How do you handle access to our systems?

I use my own named logins, never shared accounts. Before any automation writes to a live system, I describe it and get your approval. Project records are kept in a private, secured workspace that never holds passwords.

Do you use AI tools on our data?

Yes, by default, to run my side of the work: analyzing information and drafting things like configuration maps, data checks and documentation. I use only business AI services whose terms don't allow training on customer data, I never put passwords, API keys or payment card data into them, and I review everything before you see it. If you'd rather I didn't, say so in writing at any time and I won't.

Do you record our calls?

With notice. Project calls may be recorded and transcribed by an AI notetaker, which announces itself when it joins, so nothing gets lost between meetings. The notes stay in your project workspace. If anyone on the call would rather not be recorded, it stays off.

Do we need AI to implement or use MRPeasy?

No. A standard implementation doesn't use or require AI in your systems. My own use of AI tools on my side of the work needs nothing from you. Connecting AI to MRPeasy is an optional add-on, quoted only if you want it.

Can you connect AI to MRPeasy or our other systems?

Yes, if you want it. That's part of the Automate work, and I can connect AI to MRPeasy or the other systems you use. Each one is described in your statement of work, including what it reads and writes and who checks its output. It runs on accounts you own, you pay the AI provider's usage fees directly, and it goes live only with your approval. Wherever a mistake could affect orders, stock or money, a person reviews the result first.

Will you run our AI for us?

No. I build it, test it and hand it over, and your team runs it, the same as the rest of your setup. I don't host, operate or pay for AI services on your behalf. If you want me watching it for breakage, it counts as one integration under integration watch or a Service Agreement.

Do you handle the accounting setup?

I set up the connection between MRPeasy and your accounting system. Decisions about your chart of accounts and inventory valuation stay with your accountant, but I will work with them directly.
